I/ OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, students can:
• Use the present simple and present continuous.
• Read for specific information about schools and talk about school activities, subjects and what Ss do at school

- Cooperation, respect, having right and friendly attitudes with friends, teachers in the new school

A. Pre -speaking
-Have students guess the meaning of the vocabulary.
- Explain the meaning of the vocabulary
- Repeat in chorus and individually
- Tell students to copy all the words
- Tell students that this vocabulary will appear in the task that follow.
B. Whlie-speaking
-Teacher shows the extra-board listing the question in 1 (P11) asks students to work in groups decide which questions should be used to ask a new friend
-Teacher explains that we should not ask a new friend personal question such as 3,5,8
- Lets students add more questions to the list.
2. Quiz
2a.
-Teacher asks students to do a survey using the 8 questions in 2 (P11) (Extra - board)
+ How many "yes" answers should a good friend have?
+ Who have 8 "yes" answers?
2b. Production
-Teacher asks to prepare a presentation talking about a good classmate.
- Encourages Students to give nice sentences about friendship
- Choose some students to present to the class about their good friends and why they are good friends. (avoid talking about someone who is considered “not a good friend”).
