I/ OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, students can: use conjunctions (and, but, because...) and question words (where, who, why...).
1. Knowledge:
a. Grammar : - Grammar: conjunctions and question words.
b. Lexical items : - Vocab: Lexical items related to television.
c. Pronunciation:
2. Skills:
- Listening, Speaking, Reading,Writing and interactive skills
3. Attitude:
- Cooperation, respect, having right and friendly attitudes with friends, teachers in the new school
4. Quality and competence:
- Be confident and friendly with the new school environment
- Develope listening, speaking skills and cooperative interaction

- Lesson plan, Pictures, posters ,textbook,CD-MP3(Computer-Multi projector/cassette/ “sách mềm”) and other materials

-Ask Ss to read the conversation and underline the question words
- T can refer Ss to the answers in order to see the function of each question word.
2. Use the question words in the box... (P9)
- Look at the answer in the dialogue to choose the correct question word.
- Teacher plays the recording, Ss look at the conversation as they listen to check their answers.
3. Complete the conversation... (P10)
-Let Ss to to practise the question words in a longer and more complete conversation.
- Teacher should ask Ss to refer to the answers in order to find the question word.
4.Use but, and, so ... (P10)
- Get Ss to read the questions carefully and decide what the relationship between the two ideas is so that they can find the correct conjunction for each question.
5. Match be beginnings with the endings.. (P10)
-Ask Ss to work in pairs to complete the activity
- Teacher give feedback
- Ask students to read the completed sentences in front of the class
6.Work in group .. (P10)
- Ss work in group, discuss and make questions for each information given.
- Ask Ss to be careful when choosing question words.
