The most popular and innovative creation in the world of technology is the Internet. Internet has changed the world and developed at a surprising speed. However, Internet has some pros and cons, too.

On one hand, it’s undeniable that Internet has vast benefits. First of all, internet provides you a huge source of information. Nowadays, with many research tools, you can get any information you want such as how to cook a dish, how to play a game, the culture of places,…all in all, information of any field can be easily found on the internet. Besides, Internet change ways people communicate with mails, video calls, chat tools, which can connect people even when they stay far from each other. In the past, letter was the only way to contact with many risks, however, with Internet, we don’t have to worry anything about the connection. Another benefit is that Internet provides you a wide range of entertainment such as games, movies, music,… In education, e-learning and distance learning reduce the cost of study and are convenient for those who want to study at home or want to work during the day and study in the evening instead of attending universities.

On the other hand, Internet brings about some troubles for human life. Internet has become popular with many applications but easily makes people become addicted to Internet. Especially to students, they waste time playing computer games, watching TV or surfing facebook, twitter, Instagram instead of making use of Internet’s benefits. They also don’t want to join outdoor activities and have fun with their friends. Looking at the computer screen for a long time can also harm our eyes and make us tired. Additionally, some people use internet for bad purpose such as providing wrong information to abuse some one or stealing internet users’ personal information. Many user have complained about being disturbed by calls or mails from people they don’t know to ask whether the users want to buy their products.

In conclusion, although internet has so many advantages, users need to alert and protect themselves from the risks of using it.

Một lợi ích khác là Internet cung cấp cho bạn nhiều loại hình giải trí như trò chơi, phim ảnh, âm nhạc,… Trong giáo dục, học trực tuyến và học từ xa làm giảm chi phí học tập và thuận tiện cho những ai muốn học ở nhà hoặc muốn làm việc trong ngày và học vào buổi tối thay vì theo học đại học.

Mặt khác, Internet mang lại một số rắc rối cho cuộc sống con người. Internet đã trở nên phổ biến với nhiều ứng dụng nhưng dễ dàng khiến mọi người trở nên nghiện Internet. Đặc biệt đối với học sinh, họ lãng phí thời gian chơi trò chơi trên máy tính, xem TV hoặc lướt facebook, twitter, Instagram thay vì tận dụng lợi ích của Internet. Họ cũng không muốn tham gia các hoạt động ngoài trời và vui chơi với bạn bè của họ. Nhìn vào màn hình máy tính trong một thời gian dài cũng có thể làm hại mắt chúng ta và khiến chúng ta mệt mỏi. Ngoài ra, một số người sử dụng internet cho mục đích xấu như cung cấp thông tin sai trái để lạm dụng một ai dó hoặc ăn cắp thông tin cá nhân của người dùng internet.
