1. In the modern era, the education system has been converted into the online education system. In which we can study from anywhere, anytime. Nowadays Higher educations also offer courses for the students because of online education system. Online education system is the education from the comfort of home where we can learn everything while sitting in the home. Online education allows schools to reach out to a more extensive network of students, instead of being restricted by geographical boundaries. Online lectures can be recorded, archived for future reference. This allows students to access the learning material at a time of their comfort. Studying and learning online saves time and money of travelling. It’s easy and interesting to learn, students love to learn in the comfort zone. Audio visual aids are important in education system. Audio visual aids encourage teaching learning process and make it easier and interesting.
One of the first benefits of online learning is convenience. Instead of having to search for a place to study and teach, you can do it right at home. Enhance interactivity. Students can be more active in learning. Create a comfortable study space. Store study materials easily. The benefits of online learning are also reflected in the fact that both students and teachers can access an extensive search of the material without being restricted to the curriculum. This will help enrich the evidence, increase students' thinking and problem-solving abilities. Cost is also one of the issues that make many people choose to study online. Most online programs will be more affordable than traditional study options. Besides, you also save on travel costs or fuel costs.
2. Studying online has three drawbacks. Firstly, studying online causes the lack of interaction between students and teachers. Learning through the screen makes students feel bored, they cannot connect directly with their teachers and friends like when before lockdown. Although the lecture is important and helpful but without interaction, it will become ineffectual. Secondly, another disadvantage of studying online is that students easily lack concentration. When they use laptops or mobile phones to attend the online class, they also can get access to media networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and so on which make them difficult to pay attention to listening to the teacher. Finally, studying online can affect health. Excessive exposure to electronic devices (containing blue light, UV rays) may cause eye defects and impact on nerves. Currently, the number of people, especially the children with myopia, is increasing rapidly and that leaves great consequences later. Moreover, sitting for a long time without moving the position will affect the spine. In conclusion, studying online’s disadvantages need to be limited by the individual’s consciousness and effort.
At school or in traditional class system students learn how to make friends, how to behave with teacher and friends, how to get rid of disappointment etc. The main work of personality development of students can be done through traditional classes. In online classes these all are missing. Online learning cannot offer face to face human interaction which are very important for personality development.
Online classes system can be difficult for some persons who don't know the proper use of technological instruments. For small children online classes requires great disciplines and practice. It also requires more interventions of parents in case of small children. In online classes student use electronic devices like mobile, tablet, laptops or computer. Use of these devices for longer time will badly affect the health of students.
In conclusion, it is to say that this is the time of technology thus online classes are good for many of the reasons but traditional classes system have many advantages that should not be ignored fully. Now we should take advantage of both online as well as offline classes.
